Believing he has hacked into a video game software company, he challenges the computer to a game of "Global Thermonuclear War." This launches no real missiles on the Russian side, but it plays hell with said computer opponent, WOPR, the US military's computerized missile-detection and launch system. That's interesting, while I was aware that PS version was released in the same year, I didn't know (earlier) that it was different type of game. Crosmando: I remember this game on PS1, it wasn't an RTS but you could switch between controlling vehicles by pressing L2 or something, it also had buildings/terrain which turned transparent when you went behind them (like Syndicate Wars). ![]()
